We’ve got some lovely news to share, our site Woodfire at Westerlands has been recognised with a 2026 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award, placing us among the top 10% of hotels and accommodation businesses worldwide. Incredible!

And, honestly, this one means a lot to us and our small Sussex gastro-camping business.

The Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards are based on the reviews and ratings left by guests throughout the year, so this award is all thanks to the people who have camped with us, dined at the camp kitchen, made friends around the fire, explored the South Downs, relaxed under the stars with us – and then taken the time to tell others about their experience.
